HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani holding talks with Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki at the Emiri Diwan yesterday. The talks were attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani.
HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani held a round of talks at the Emiri Diwan yesterday with Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki.
HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and a number of ministers also attended the talks.
On the Eritrean side the talks were attended by the members of the official delegation accompanying President Isaias Afewerki.
During the talks, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them. They also reviewed a set of other issues of mutual concern.
Later, the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Eritrean president and the accompanying delegation.
President Isaias Afwerki arrived in Doha earlier yesterday on an official visit to Qatar.
