Mövenpick Tower & Suites Doha has appointed Ghada Sadek as the new general manager.
She succeeds Jan Kaiser who has been appointed the general manager of Mövenpick Hotel Paris Neuilly.
Ghada, an Egyptian national, joins the hotel from Wyndham Grand Regency where she held the position of assistant general manager.
The seasoned hotelier brings with her a passion for the industry and over 22 years of experience in sales and marketing and operations in international hotel chains such as Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Red Sea.
An established figure in the local community for her involvement in the development of environmental programmes and sustainability initiatives, as well as strong ties with the local government, Ghada is keen to focus on strengthening the Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts brand among the local business community.
“From a general manager to a housekeeper, we need to ensure that everyone is empowered to excel in his/her position. We have to make sure that we recognise hard work and great ideas, which make a team more successful,” said Ghada.
