Biriyani Hut in Al Wakrah has launched a festival of kebabs and breads titled Kebab Sutra.
During the festival, to be held until April 16, instead of the regular menu the restaurant will serve a special kebab menu every evening from 7pm-1am and on weekends from 11.30am-3.30pm and 7pm-1am. The culinary team under the supervision of chef Rajkumar will prepare more than 100 varieties of kebab.
Top Indian chef Amjath has been flown in from the UK to work along with the in-house kebab specialist Tripan Singh,  SAVY Group’s chief operations officer Sumit Bhatnagar said.
Some of the most popular kebabs that are being served are Murgh Mussallam, Sikandari Raan, Noorani kebab, Nagpuri Murgh Kebab, Lahsuni Fish Hara Tikka, Hammour-Shah-Jahani and Samudri Ratan.
Other dishes such as Malabari chicken roast, Chicken 65, and Calicut fish fry will be part of the menu aside vegetarian kebab such as Hariyali Dastaan, Multani Paneer Tikka with a touch of ice cream cooked in tandoor. The variety of breads include Lal Badshah Paratha, Kerala Paratha and Satpura Paratha.
