The Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Qatar Airways will host the fourth edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) at the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) Park on Doha’s waterfront from March 28 to 31.
Internationally renowned chefs will join many of Doha’s top hotels and restaurants to celebrate fine dining with the freshest ingredients and the latest food trends, as well as healthy eating options.
Among the highlights are ‘Dinner in the Sky’ operated by W Hotel and Residences Doha, staged 40m high in the air and ‘Dining at Sea’ in drifting BBQ Donut crafts from The Diplomatic Club with flaming barbecue menus.
QIFF is also introducing Qatar Airways’ Cooking Theatre where award-winning celebrity TV chefs Ramzi Choueiri from Lebanon, and Vineet Bhatia from India, will be joined by Grand Hyatt Doha’s chef David Okuda demonstrating a few of their signature dishes. German Junior Master Chef, Valentin Krapf, will also be on hand to show youngsters how to cook up a menu of healthy snacks and meals.
QTA chairman Issa al-Mohannadi, said: “This year we are not only bringing delicious food from the best restaurants and hotels in Doha, but we are adding some exciting treats for those that really enjoy the art of cooking.”
Qatar Airways chief executive officer Akbar al-Baker said the culinary festival will undoubtedly appeal to people of all ages. Entry to the event is free. Vouchers for food and drink at the festival will be sold on site at the event.  
QIFF opening hours: March 28 (6pm to 11pm), March 29 (1pm to 11pm), March 30 (1pm to 10pm), and March 31 (2pm to 10pm).
