Mamoura Complex has opened a new branch of its supermarket in Doha’s Nuaija-Hilal area.
At the opening ceremony, the chairman of Mamoura Complex, Ali Hassan Khalaf, said that it was the biggest branch of the company located in an important area of Doha.
“We believe we can develop our retail business up to higher standards to meet the needs of customers of this area,” he said.
General manager Iftikhar Abbasi said that this was the fifth supermarket of the company, which began its operations in 1989. He said it was one of the very few establishments in the supermarket business chain that is 100% owned by a Qatari.
The new Mamoura Complex is spread over an area of 3,000sq m and has three floors. The basement area houses stationery and household items; the ground floor has fish, meat, vegetable, bakery items; and the first floor has electronics and clothes.
Abbasi said their supermarket offers competitive prices on all its products and customers will find the best prices in their stores.
