Porsche Design Qatar yesterday launched the TwinBag, the first handbag from the German luxury brand, at Porsche Design Store in Lagoona Plaza, West Bay.
The adjustable handles allow the TwinBag to be worn as either a handbag or a shoulder bag. The TwinBag comes in three select leather varieties – ostrich leather, crocodile leather, and calf leather.
Porsche Design will be making only 30 crocodile leather Twinbags, with Porsche Design Qatar having the only piece currently available in the Middle East. The crocodile and ostrich leather versions have
individual numbers.
The TwinBag is handmade in Italy. The leather is tanned using an eco-friendly process. The metal fittings are made from precious metals, such as gold, white gold, rose gold, matt gold, silver and chrome.
Heidi Otto, general manager (ladies fashion), Porsche Design, Germany, and Salman Jassem al-Darwish, CEO, Porsche Design Qatar, were present at the launch event.
