The new managing committee of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) has been formed after the recent election and subsequent nominations from the Indian embassy.
Kareem Abdulla had been elected president. The other portfolios were decided at a managing committee meeting, in the presence of chief co-ordinating officer and Indian embassy second secretary Anil Nautiyal.
The other office bearers are Baby Kurian (vice-president), Arvind Patil (general secretary), Santosh Neelakanthan (joint secretary), Jatin Pathak (treasurer).
Heads of various divisions: Anupindi D Sarma (public relations), Jaffar Khan M (legal assistance and labour cases), Wilson Babu Bandela (death case assistance), Ramchandra Shetty (supplies and minor assistance), Ismail Nagur (repatriation assistance), Belal Khan (awareness), Milan Arun (sponsorship), and Sheela Shenoy (medical assistance).
The area representatives are H P Patel (Dukhan), Vishal J Mehta (Al Khor), and Shivkant Mirkar (Mesaieed).
