HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov witness the signing of a memorandum of understanding in Doha yesterday
Qatar and Ukraine signed three memoranda of understanding following a session of official talks chaired by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani and Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov here yesterday.
During the official talks, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all domains, and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and Ukraine’s prime minister witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of education and scientific research, a memorandum of understanding in the energy sector and a memorandum of understanding between Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Ukraine.
The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister later hosted a dinner banquet in honour of Ukraine’s Premier and his accompanying delegation.
Earlier on arrival in Doha Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and his accompanying delegation were received by HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education Saad bin Ibrahim al-Mahmoud who is also secretary general of the Supreme Education Council (SEC); head of protocols for the prime minister Ahmed Jassem al-Mulla, Qatar’s non-resident Ambassador to Ukraine Ahmed bin Saif al-Midhadi and  Ukraine’s non-resident ambassador to Qatar Yori Polores.
