Former Pakistan cricket star Ijaz Ahmed will arrive in Doha on Saturday (March 9) on a personal visit to the coaching facility of the Pakistan Cricket Academy (PCA).
He will be in Qatar until Monday.
PCA Doha president Shahid Iqbal Chaudhry said that he is thankful to Ahmed for agreeing to interact with players at his academy.
The cricketer played 60 Tests and 250 One Day Internationals for the Pakistan team from 1986 to 2001.
Ahmed has played some memorable innings against teams from India, England, Australia, West Indies, Sri Lanka, and South Africa.
He is currently one of the coaches at the national cricket academy in Lahore.
