Saleh bin Mohammed al-Nabet and Bernard Ramanantsoa shake hands after signing the MoU
The General Secretariat for Development Planning (GSDP) has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with HEC Paris in Qatar, offering a complete portfolio of management programmes including the first-ever international Executive MBA (EMBA) in Qatar.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of GSDP by its secretary-general Saleh bin Mohamed al-Nabet and on behalf of HEC Paris in Qatar by Bernard Ramanantsoa, dean of HEC Paris.
The signing ceremony took place at the GSDP office yesterday with the goal of setting up a framework for partnership and co-operation between the two signatories.
The memorandum identified the actions required of each party. These include an agreement to co-operate in supporting, through teaching and training, of national skills, and further co-operation in the field of scientific research and conducting strategic studies that are in accordance with the requirements of the National Development Strategy 2011 to 2016.
The memorandum also stresses the need for both parties to present the necessary technical support to the programmes and the projects included in the national development strategy.
