The Pakistan Professionals Forum Qatar is organising an “evening of prose and poetry” with the veteran artiste, Zia Moheyuddin, on February 22.
The versatile Pakistani artist is expected to arrive in Doha on Feb 20.
He is known also for playing the role of an Arab guide, Tafas, in the 1962 epic British movie Lawrence of Arabia.
Moheyuddin now runs the National Academy of Performing Arts in Karachi. He is known in the world of Urdu literature for his outstanding recitals of Urdu poetry and prose.
According to the PPFQ, tickets have been priced at QR75 for each member of the body, while non-members will have to pay QR125 each.
Seating will be on first-come-first-served basis.
