A colourful cultural programme including dances marked Sri Lanka’s 65th Independence Day at a ceremony organised yesterday by the Sri Lankan embassy in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Co-ordinating Committee (SLCC) at the Radisson Blu Hotel Doha. A group of performers from the Rivega Dance Studio with choreographer Rangika Jeewan enthralled the audience at the event, which was attended by Sri Lankan ambassador Jayantha Palipane as chief guest.
