HE the Chairman of Qatar’s Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah, who also heads the Qatari side in the Qatar-Japan Friendship Association, met the Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida here yesterday.
During the meeting they discussed bilateral relations and means to develop them.
Al-Attiyah also met the member of the Japanese Parliament Toshihiro Nikai here yesterday.
They discussed key issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Japan Yousuf bin Mohamed Belal and members of the official delegation accompanying al-Attiyah.
During his meeting with Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Toshimitsu Motegi aspects of co-operation between the two countries and means of enhancing and bolstering them were discussed.
Al-Attiyah also met separately Itochu Corporation’s president Yuji Fukuda and Mitsubishi CEO Yorihiko Kojima.
The two meetings discussed issues of mutual concern.
Al-Attiyah also held talks with presidents of the Japanese corporations Mitsui and Marubeni, Masami Iijima and Teruo Asada, respectively.
