Members of the Qatari government have held important bilateral and multilateral meetings to enhance co-operation and prepare for the post Unctad XIII era. HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, Minister of Business and Trade, held a series of meetings with ministers and key personalities, including Othman Omar al-Sharif, Minister of Trade, Sudan; and Anas Khaled al-Saleh, Minister for Trade and Industry, Kuwait.

HE Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz al-Thani also met with Rashad Badi al-Din, Minister for Trade and Industry, Sri Lanka.
He concluded his meetings by discussing international issues with Anne Ruth Herkes, Deputy Minister for Economy and Trade, Germany.
