HSBC has appointed Justin Kenny as chief operating officer (COO) in Qatar.
Kenny undertakes his new position with immediate effect, following his role as the chief operating officer for HSBC Global Payments and  Cash Management Europe. Prior to this, Kenny was the chief operating officer and director of the management board of HSBC Bank Kazakhstan, and previously, the global programme director of eCommerce for corporate and commercial banking at HSBC Group in London.

He will be a great asset to the senior management team of HSBC in Qatar,” said Abdul Hakeem Mostafawi, chief executive officer, HSBC in Qatar.
In his new role, Kenny will be responsible for ensuring that HSBC Qatar is a recognised leader in operational excellence and customer service quality, while meeting the requirements of stakeholders and the emerging regulatory landscape, including those relating to resolution planning.
