The Supreme Council of Health (SCH) yesterday launched  a nation-wide survey on the satisfaction levels of health service users in Qatar.

The survey, which goes on until April 30, targets all nationals and expatriates in Qatar who receive health services.

Random samples will be taken from the visitors of health facilities and they will  be contacted by telephone to ask them about their opinions on the quality of the service. However, they have to agree to speak before any question is asked.  The questions will be in Arabic, English, Hindi, Urdu and Persian.

The annual survey aims at evaluating the experience of the users of health service. Eventually, the outcome would be used as a basis for developing health strategies and policies in the country regarding improving the quality of service.

The questions of the survey include waiting time before accessing the service, communication with patient regarding treatment, effective and durability of treatment and the suitability of fees.
