National Award winning actress Mallika
Indian actress Mallika who had played the lead role in some Indian National Award winning movies, will attend the AG Vision Award Night to be held at Al Ahli Stadium tomorrow.
A lot of other film stars, including Bharat Mammooty, have already confirmed participation in the show.
Mallika  has acted in several Malayalam and Tamil films.
Mallika, who made her debut with Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s Nizhalkuthu in 2002, got recognition for her starling performance in blockbuster Autograph. This was followed by success of Ranjith’s Indian Rupee and Suveeran’s Byari which won her the National Award.
Byari is the first-ever film made in Byari language, spoken mainly by people belonging to a community concentrated in the coastal region of north Kerala and Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka.
In the Ullal region in Dakshina Kannada, people belonging to other communities have also adopted Byari as their mother language. Byari language, which has links with Malayalam, Urdu and Tulu, does not have a script.
