Millennium Hotel Doha, part of the Millennium and Copthorne hotel group, has announced two new appointments which will strengthen the hotel’s customer acquisition plans.

Maya Hanna and Tarek Haroun
Tarek Haroun joins the Millennium as its new director of Sales and Marketing. Haroun started his career with Sheraton Damascus and Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi.
He joins Millennium Doha from his previous role as Assistant Director of Sales with the Al Ahsa InterContinental in Saudi Arabia, where he was in charge of sales and marketing with a particular focus on growing the business travel market.
With 12 years of experience and in-depth working knowledge of the Gulf markets, Haroun will be leading the sales team in achieving revenue goals, acquire and sustain growth in new segments and maintain the hotel’s position in the market.
Maya Hanna joins the organisation as PR and communications manager for not just the Millennium Hotel, but also for the group’s two new properties in the city, Kingsgate Doha and Copthorne Doha. Her responsibilities include all promotional activities across the three hotels, including branding, generating awareness and favourability, and ultimately generating revenue.
Hanna graduated from the Notre Dame University, Lebanon, with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She has since gained six years of experience in the industry. Hanna started her career with InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, initially working in the F&B department and working her way up to Assistant PR and Communications Manager.
