As a sub-programme under the Green Programme for Schools (GPS), Oryx GTL is sponsoring an energy awareness campaign across schools to enhance environmental awareness and culture in Qatar.

Oryx GTL, which aims to promote its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme to enhance environmental awareness and culture in Qatar in line with National Vision 2030, has also signed up as gold sponsor for the programme.
The GPS is the environmental initiative of Msheireb Properties in association with Qatar Today magazine, which aims to reach, inspire and reward students and schools in Qatar by meaningfully engaging and inculcating in them the importance of building a green culture.
Through the campaign, GPS as well as Oryx GTL aim to educate schools and students on the concept of energy.
As part of the programme, energy awareness information boards will be placed in all the participating schools.
There will also be a quiz competition where students have to answer three simple questions based on energy awareness as well as write a catchy slogan on energy.
The student with the best energy slogan will be awarded.
“We thank Oryx GTL for supporting this unique school programme,” said Oryx Advertising vice president Ravi Raman.
The ongoing activation process of the nominated schools involves each school being branded with stickers and pledge boards.
GPS is supported by the Supreme Education Council and its partners include: Qatar Green Building Council as consulting partner, ILQ and Campus as media partners, and Mission 20 as activation partner.
