Emir sends condolences to King Abdullah
HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, and HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani have sent cables of condolences and sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud, of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the death of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz bin Mohamed bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.

HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani conferred in New York yesterday with United Nations Secretary-General Ban
Ki-moon.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest as well as the latest issues and developments on the regional and international arenas, particularly the situation in Syria.
The meeting was attended by Qatar’s permanent representative to the UN, HE Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad al-Thani.
