The MGallery is described as a distinctive boutique hotel that will offer a modern interpretation of Qatari heritage and hospitality.
In the design phase now, the new hotel is scheduled for opening in 2015, opposite the traditional Souq Waqif and close to the airport and Doha’s business districts.
A first-of-its-kind in Qatar, the boutique hotel, will feature 215 rooms, and in addition to meeting facilities, an exclusive spa and an outdoor pool.
The property will offer original cafes and restaurants concepts as well as terraces overlooking unique views of the Mshereib district and the Souq Waqif.
Abdul Aziz al-Emadi, CEO, Msheireb Hospitality, said Accor, the market leader in Europe, shares Msheireb’s passion in creating a new hub in a project which integrates the best elements of Doha’s historical heritage with innovative facilities.

Christophe Landais, Accor Middle East managing director, expressed delight in supporting the long-term vision of Msheireb Hospitality by introducing a unique and internationally renowned hotel in Qatar under the MGallery label.

The MGallery St Ermin hotel in London is the recent addition to the MGallery collection which brings the network to 48 hotels in Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia, Africa and Middle East.
Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world’s first sustainable downtown regeneration project, will redevelop the 31 hectares site in the historical city centre of Doha.
The project aims to transform the old commercial and business district into the vibrant, cohesive and culturally alive city centre that it once was.
Accor is present in 90 countries with more than 4,400 hotels and 530,000 rooms.
