Well-known chef Gordon Ramsay will visit The St. Regis Doha for an “exclusive” evening of culinary delights on January 6.
Chef Ramsay will design special menus at Gordon Ramsay Doha and Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha, offering food connoisseurs an opportunity to see the master at work and savour specialties never served before in Doha.
Gordon Ramsay is a world renowned Scottish chef who maintains three Michelin stars, one of the most impressive awards in the culinary world. Ramsay is also well-known for his top-rated competitive cooking television shows, such as “Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Cookery Course,” “Kitchen Nightmares,” and “MasterChef.”
On that night, guests will have the opportunity to see Chef Ramsay at work as he prepares and introduces exclusive menus designed to exemplify the cuisine and concept of both restaurants.
At Gordon Ramsay Doha, guests will enjoy a fine-dining five-course set menu featuring a European lobster and pear salad, pan-fried sea bass and a soft vanilla-berry meringue. Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha will stay true to its bistro-style with a menu including sharing appetisers and a braised duck leg with crushed potatoes and orange cardamom sauce as main course.
Set menus for the evening cost QR500 at Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha and QR1,200 per person at Gordon Ramsay Doha.
Gordon Ramsay Doha provides a five-star avant-garde dining experience in an intimate setting inspired by the features of a classical English manor, while Opal by Gordon Ramsay Doha offers bistro-style dining in a relaxed, social environment. Both restaurants are directed by Michelin-starred head chef Gilles Bosquet, who trained under Gordon Ramsay at The Connaught restaurant in London.
Both restaurants are the only Middle Eastern branches of the Gordon Ramsay branded restaurants, and have been tremendously popular since opening last spring.
