The freedom we enjoy today under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, and HH the Heir Apparent is the only guarantee of creativity, for there is no creativity without freedom,” HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz al-Kuwari said.  
Speaking during the closing ceremony of the 3rd Youth Theatre Festival, which was organised by the youth activities and events department at the ministry from December 23 to 29, Dr al-Kuwari said that the ministry has spared no effort in providing facilities and necessary assistance for the success of this festival.
It has provided an unprecedented financial support for sports clubs and youth centres which presented their plays during this festival, and allocated prize money to all elements of theatrical work.  
He also noted that the festival drew attention to the striking talent of young Qataris in the theatrical field, stressing that this festival is a real testament to the role played by the ministry in encouraging young people and developing their skills.
The minister presented awards to the winners and honoured the pioneers of theatrical arts in Qatar.
