Al khaliji team with the award at an event in Dubai
Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) took home yet another award at the annual ‘Banker Middle East Product Awards’, held in Dubai last week, and hosted by CPI Financial. Al khaliji was awarded with the ‘Best Premium Banking Service’ for its innovative service targeted at affluent and high net worth customers.
Robin McCall, group chief executive officer, said: “Over and over again, al khaliji has proven itself to be an award-winning bank. We are especially proud that it is our premium banking service that won the award as it is a key pillar of our customer focused strategy. This service has been put together by the talented staff we have at al khaliji, who constantly strive to deliver exemplary service to our clients. The award is not only a testament to the success of our approach to premium banking, but also to the success of our hardworking team members.”
The ‘Banker Middle East Product Awards’ recognise banking products and services that are either exceptionally innovative or have generated excellent financial results. Over 66 regional banks competed for a series of awards that was voted on not by a jury, but by a peer-voting system.
“It is also flattering to know that we were selected by banking and financial professionals from all over the region,” McCall said, adding: “We are proud to be recognised for our services and products from fellow bankers who truly understand excellence in their field.”
Al khaliji’s premium banking service is a series of services packaged under one brand. There are seven different components in the service: a dedicated relationship manager, access to upgraded and exclusive premium centres at the branches, wealth management services, preferential rates on all types of loans, family benefits, and complimentary ‘priority pass’ membership. However, the element that stands out in this service is ‘doorstep banking’ whereby the customer’s dedicated relationship manager will come to their place or residence or business to handle normal personal banking requirements, that would normally require them to visit a branch.
“I truly believe that it is our commitment to ensure seamless and convenient banking for our Premium customers that has won us this accolade,” said McCall.
