Multi world record holder Oscar Pistorius will be promoting ‘Run Like the Wind’, a ‘definitely able’ CSR campaign by The international Energy and Chemical company Sasol, in collaboration with the Qatar Olympic and the Qatar Paralympic Committee.

The campaign is to raise awareness and highlighting the positive contribution of people with disabilities in building the local community.

Pistorius will also join other sporting icons at Doha GOALS Forum, created under the high patronage of HH the Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.

Set as the closing event of the Doha GOALS Forum, the ‘Run Like the Wind’ is a unique sporting challenge that will feature Pistorius.

The Olympic semi-finalist, multi world record holder and Paralympic gold medalist will put his abilities to the test by racing against a pure Arabian horse on Wednesday the 12th of December at a specially designed outdoor circuit at the Aspire Zone.

“Arabian horses are iconic in this region and I think it is going to be an amazing spectacle. Anybody who has time to come and watch it would certainly enjoy,” said Pistorius, who won gold medals in the 100, 200 and 400 metres at the the 2008 Summer Paralympics.
