The Qatar Chamber (QC) has received a delegation of Italian businessmen and discussed ways to enhance partnership between businessmen of the two countries. |
Mohamed Mahdi al-Ahbab, member of board at QC, headed the Qatari side during the meeting. The Italian group was led by Balma Lebuti, chairwoman of the Italian Business Council Qatar (IBCQ).
Al-Ahbabi said the meeting aimed at creating partnerships between the businessmen of the two friendly countries, which would eventually benefit both of them.
He said that the Qatari economy had become one of the strongest in the world because of the diversity of its resources other than oil and gas.
He stressed the role of QC in enhancing investment relationships between businessmen from the two countries as Qatar provides a suitable atmosphere for foreign
investment.
IBCQ chairwoman Lebuti said that this meeting provides a platform for increasing the volume of investment between the two parties. She also gave a presentation about the guide to Italian industries to promote Italian products in Qatar especially furniture and leather products.
