Qatar Airways will hold a drawing competition for children in Qatar offering five youngsters a chance to win a trip to Kindercity, an entertainment and learning centre for kids in Switzerland.
Children, aged between five and 12 years old, can send their best drawing interpretation that reflects the theme “future of travel” to Qatar Airways in a competition that runs between December 5 and 15.
The prize is for the winning children to enjoy an all-expenses trip to Kindercity in the Swiss city of Zurich, a modern development centre aimed at youngsters from around the world to learn and enjoy activities.
Submissions can be scanned and e-mailed to [email protected] or dropped off at dedicated drop boxes located in the lobby of Qatar Airways Tower 2, Airport Road in Doha.
Qatar Airways vice-president Commercial (Qatar) Ehab Amin said the contest was in line with the airline’s continued efforts to build a closer relationship with customers and young travellers.
“Children are always fascinated with travel and aviation and this drawing competition will be an excellent platform for them to showcase their interest, their passion and their creativity towards this ever exciting field,” he said.
“Participation in such contests helps in the overall development of creativity among children. Qatar Airways believes that this aligns to the National Vision 2030 helping foster art and imagination among the future generation of Qatar.”
It is mandatory that every drawing entry should mention the Privilege Club membership number of a parent as reference. Parents can easily enroll as Privilege Club members at qmiles.com or at any Qatar Airways sales office in Qatar.
The five most original drawings will be chosen as winners by a jury panel for an all expenses paid trip to Kindercity, along with one accompanying parent. The winners will be announced on January 13, 2013.
