The makers of the Egyptian movie Asham: A Man Called Hope at a briefing held yesterday have expressed the hope that the film would contribute in a big way to the revival of the film industry in Egypt. Shady Habashy (second from left) plays the lead role in the film, set in the background of the January 25 Revolution that unseated Hosni Mubarak. The story is about a street peddler’s optimism about a better future for his country. PICTURE: Shemeer Rasheed
