The Limited Edition Qatar Turbine, especially crafted in tribute to the discerning watch aficionados of Qatar by Perrelet, the master creator of timepieces, is on display at the Al Majed Jewellery stand at the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition, currently underway at the Doha Exhibition Centre.
In tribute to Qatar’s innovativeness, Perrelet has fashioned the “Turbine” in the maroon and white colours of the country. The Limited Edition is presented in partnership with Al Majed Jewellery.
With the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition running till February 25, this is one of the last opportunities for collectors of exceptional watches to own this Limited Edition masterpiece.
The Turbine, an interpretation of the Double Rotor, is housed in a 44mm, DLC-coated, steel case, and the Double Rotor transformed into a turbine with 12 titanium blades covers the whole dial. The Turbine, whose concept is patented, produces a spectacular optical effect with the aid of a lower dial - an effect which, on this model only, has been reinforced by the separation of the two rotors. The maroon colour of the hours and minutes hands in combination with the white of the seconds hand is a new demonstration of style, and the privilege of wearing this subtle creation will be granted to only 10 watchmaking enthusiasts.
