HE Dr al-Sada engaging children playing foosball at Al Ghazal Club
Energy and Industry Affairs Minister HE Dr Mohamed Saleh al-Sada, who is also the chairman and managing director of Qatar Petroleum (QP), visited the company’s Al Ghazal Club yesterday during the sports activities organised by the corporation to mark the country’s inaugural National Sports Day.
Dr al-Sada was welcomed at the club by senior Qatar Petroleum  officials, and he was taken on a tour of the facility to see QP employees and their families engage in various types of sports activities.
Organised by QP’s Administration Directorate, among the sports activities held at the Al Ghazal Club were table tennis, billiards, babyfoot or foosball, and tennis.
Later in the afternoon, a walking marathon for men and women was held at the club’s football ground, while a “Fun Day for Kids” programme was organised at the club’s banquet hall to entertain the children of QP employees.
The Al Ghazal Club, together with the Ras Abu Abboud Boat & Beach Club, is one of the seven locations where Qatar Petroleum  held various sports activities throughout the country in support of Qatar’s National Sports Day.
The other venues for QP-organised sports events were Ras Laffan Industrial City, Mesaieed Industrial City, Dukhan, Halul Island, and Production Station 2 (PS2) and PS3.
