Jassim Mohamed Sulaiman inaugurates the factory as other officials look on
Jumbo Electronics group has opened a HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) duct works factory at Street No 36, Industrial Area.
The factory is equipped with the latest automatic machinery including CNC (Computer Numerical Control) plasma cutting and Auofold duct forming machines as well as qualified and experienced personnel.
“Jumbo Electromech Engineering – the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) wing of the group is now ready to meet the design, fabrication and installation schedules to the utmost satisfaction of the clients,” an official said.
In addition to the fabrication of the in-house projects requirements, Jumbo will now undertake fabrication and supply of HVAC ducting for other HVAC/MEP contractors in the market.
The full fledged factory will produce standard and specific designs of ducts to meet the design specifications of various HVAC industry requirements.
Added advantages of the hi-tech CNC machinery is that special project requirements such as cutting of steel pipes or sheets up to a thickness of 20mm can be easily done apart from fabrication of galvanised iron ducts for heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications. With the establishment of the duct factory, Jumbo Electromech Engineering joins the select group of HVAC duct manufacturers in the country.
The factory was declared open by Video Home & Jumbo Electronics group vice chairman and managing director Jassim Mohamed Sulaiman in the presence of director and general manager C V Rappai, assistant general manager (MEP division) G N Raju and other senior officials from Jumbo Electronics & Electromech Engineering.
