Doha College celebrated the achievements of its students by presenting (I)GCSE certificates in front of a packed audience of parents, governors and staff.  The group of students were celebrating the best set of results Doha College has seen at (I)GCSE level. As many as 94% of students achieved five or more (I)GCSEs at A* - C level. “This far exceeds the expected norms in any British School and puts Doha College in the top 100 schools in the UK; we are extremely proud of these results,” said principal Mark Leppard. Over half of the students received special awards from Edexcel Examination Board in recognition of the fact that they achieved five or more (I)GCSEs with a grade of A or above. The Year 11 Academic Award was presented to Sana Tariq in recognition of attaining 10 GCSEs all at A* grade. “This is an amazing achievement for any student at this age and it is encouraging to know that there were at least another 30 students who scored almost as highly as Sana,” said Paul Young who announced the award.The evening was enhanced by the lively musical presentations performed by Christine Hicks, Eleanor Street and Katie Potter
