HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday met a visiting delegation from Libya at his Emiri Diwan office.
The Heir Apparent welcomed the Libyan delegation members and wished them a pleasant stay in Qatar, recalling the close and historic relations between the two countries’ people.
For their part, the delegation members expressed their thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, HH the Heir Apparent and the government and people of Qatar for their support and the effective role played by Qatar in their struggle to achieve democracy.
The delegation also expressed their gratitude for Qatar’s help to them in achieving success and rebuilding a new Libya.
