Honorine and Yohan entertaining the audience at Lanka Lions Nite
Sri Lankans turned out in large numbers at Ramada Plaza for the 23rd Lanka Lions Nite dinner dance and musical extravaganza on Thursday and Friday respectively. Minister and deputy chef de mission at the Sri Lankan embassy R S Khan Azard was the chief guest.
Sri Lankan Airlines Country Manager Fawzan Fareid, Commercialbank of Qatar representative Shelton Peiris, Gulf Paradise Hotel General Manager Fouzi Mohideen and foreign publications manager of Lankadeepa (Middle East) Neegal Noronha were present.
Visiting artists Yohan and Honorine Fonseka, Sohan Weerasinghe, Annesley Malawana and Amila Nadeeshani regaled the audience with popular songs in English and Sinhala.
Winners of the entrance ticket on both days and the couple dancing and baila competitions held on Thursday received prizes sponsored by SriLankan Airlines, Deluxe Travels, Domasco, Gulf Paradise Hotel, Doha Marriott, Mercure Grand, Salon Belleza and SLME.
