Artistes for the Lanka Lions Nite have arrived in Doha

The 23rd Lanka Lions Nite dinner dance and musical extravaganza will be held tonight and tomorrow at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. The event, which is extremely popular among the Sri Lankan and other Asian expatriates, has attracted well-known singers and other artistes from the south Asian island.
There has been a good response to ticket sales for the event, Lanka Lions officials said.
Artists Yohan Fonseka, Honorine Fonseka, Sohan Weerasinghe, Annesley Malawana and Amila Nadeeshani arrived last night. The singers will entertain music and dance lovers  with a series of English, Hindi, Sinhalese and Tamil music at the programme. The tickets for the dinner dance are available at the venue. Musical extravaganza starts at 4pm. Tickets can also be purchased from all Sri Lankan outlets.
