Al-Marrikhi
The Al-Khor Centre for Community Development, a subsidiary of Qatar Charity, has built a football ground in Al-Khor with a QR60,000 donation from RasGas Company. The ground is for local youths, it was announced.
Qatar Charity expressed its thanks and appreciation to RasGas for its active backing and contribution in supporting the youth and social activities implemented by the Al-Khor Centre for Community Development.
The centre’s manager, Khamis al-Marrikhi, said 48 students a day benefit from the ground.
He noted the project has been praised and applauded by the students’ parents. The youths are involved in a number of programmes and games.
