A twinning agreement between Doha and the city of Banjul in Gambia was signed here yesterday. The agreement provides for exchange of expertise between both cities in the areas of training and service.
The agreement was signed by Director of Doha Municipality Mohamed Ahmed al-Sayed and Mayor of Banjul, Samba Fall, in the presence of officials from both sides.
In his remarks at the signing ceremony, Al-Sayed hailed the depth and strength of relations between the two countries, wishing that the agreement would contribute to consolidating co-operation between all municipalities and institutions in various fields. The terms of the agreement include the exchange of expertise and experience in the field of training, building inspection and the issuance of building permits
