Sixth form students from Mesaieed International School

Students at Mesaieed International School (MIS) achieved excellent results at the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (I/GCSE) examinations, which were held in May and June this year.
A total of 95% of the Year 11 students of MIS registered over five I/GCSE’s at grade A* to C, which is the number of I/GCSE’s required to go onto advanced-level studies, while 53% of the Year 11 cohort received more than ten I/GCSE’s at grade C or above.
The outstanding results, which were announced in August, rank the Year 11 MIS students among the highest achievers at this level worldwide.
One MIS student, Shivam Tiwari, even received an “Outstanding Learner Award” certificate from Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) for garnering the highest mark among all students in Qatar, who took the CIE IGCSE Geography examination.
Located inside Mesaieed Industrial City, the Mesaieed International School serves the educational needs of the children of QP employees, contractors and joint venture partners, who are based in the area.
