Shehab speaks about ecoQ as other officials look on
The organising committee of Qatar International Environment Protection and Sustainable Energy Exhibition and Conference (ecoQ), which is opening on October 16, has announced the sponsors and supporters of the event.
The three-day conference, being held at the Doha Exhibition Centre, is an annual environmental platform showcasing the latest technologies and products used in environment protection.
The event is supported by the Ministry of Environment, Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the German Delegation for Trade and Commerce (AHK), Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), Friends of the Environment Centre, Qatar and the French National Commission (Unesco), Berlin Government, Oxford Business Group and Qatar University Research Centre,  Unesco Regional Office in Doha and Qatar University’s Environment Research Centre.
“Around 15,000 people are expected to attend the conference,” said Muhsen Zayed al-Khayarim, deputy unit communications manager, Ministry of Environment. Nadia Suliman, senior adviser, Ministry of Environment; executives from Stallion Advertising Solutions, the event organisers, and representatives of the main supporters and sponsors were also present.

Senior officials, delegations and environmental experts have already confirmed their attendance and speaking slots at the ecoQ conference, including the Costa Rican Minister of Environment, the Special Adviser to the Cabinet of Japan, the Head of the French National Committee – Unesco, Berlin Government officials, among other senior officials and representatives of global companies and institutions.
