Millennium Hotel Doha teamed up with the Hamad Medical Centre for a blood donation drive which saw more than 40 hotel employees donating blood.
Held recently at the hotel’s Simsima Ballroom, the drive was part of a wider corporate initiative which saw all Millennium & Copthorne hotels joining in. Giorgio Lanfranchi, general manager of Millennium Hotel Doha said: “Our aim with this blood donation drive is to help those in need. The blood donated by volunteers like us, and like you, can save lives.”
This is the first year the hotel group has marked World Humanitarian Day and it is hoped that the initiative will become an annual one.
