The Academic Bridge Programme (ABP) held the first of two days of orientation course yesterday.
The ABP was established in 2001 to provide Qatari high school graduates of good ability with a one year foundation programme to prepare for an English language university education.
ABP director Dr Miles Lovelace, assistant director for academics Dr Mark Newmark, Moza al-Boainain, assistant director for Student Services and Fahad al-Thani, ABP Student Association president were among those who spoke. Moza stressed that students should “respect the Qatari law, ABP policies and regulations and the whole ABP community.”
