A special convoy of trucks and Land Cruisers, called “The Box of Goodwill,” will travel throughout Qatar during the holy month of Ramadan bringing joy to families across the country.

Qtel’s Ramadan “Box of Goodwill” Convoy
The initiative, which is being driven by Qtel, has been designed to ensure that everyone has full support during the holy month of Ramadan.
The specially-converted Land Cruisers and trucks will travel across Qatar, helping widows, orphans and people with special needs.
A total of 350 families have been identified for the programme, and the visits will provide an opportunity to share a special Ramadan moment with people across Qatar.
As part of the campaign, the Qtel volunteers will visit homes and deliver special coupons which can be exchanged for family necessities. Each visit will deliver sufficient coupons for the whole family, and the aim is to reach out to areas across Qatar.
The vouchers can be exchanged at Lulu Hypermarkets for groceries and household goods, Al Rais for electronic goods, and Kholoud Pharmacy for medicine and healthcare products. Qtel is also waiving any outstanding bills for the families involved in the programme.
In addition to visiting families, “Convoy of Goodwill” volunteers will also drop in at the Sheikh Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre to visit patients receiving dialysis. For patients, in addition to Ramadan greetings, Qtel will have special gifts for them including Qtel service vouchers.
Qtel’s theme for its campaign for the Holy Month is “Sundook Ramadan,” the box of memories and shared family experiences that bring different generations together.
The “Box of Goodwill” will support this initiative with a range of special visits to community centres.
Qtel is fully funding and supporting the programme, in addition to providing volunteers to help distribute the vouchers.
Qtel has supported this special convoy since 2010, as part of its wider CSR strategy, “For Qatar, Hand in Hand.”
