In an awards ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City, LG Electronics was recognised for its branding activities with a “Superbrand’ trophy. Attended by the regions elite, the Tribute Event also saw the unveiling of the coveted 2011 Superbrands book, featuring the UAE’s top brands.
Accepting the award and speaking to top executives of leading local, regional and global brands, LG Electronics (Gulf FZE) president H S Paik said: “We have been steadily building the LG brand in the region since we began operations in the Middle East in 1988. We have done this by consistently communicating our brand values and delivering innovative yet stylish products to engage with consumers, and are very proud and honoured to accept this award which recognises our efforts over the years.”
