Bader Abdullah al-Darwish, Chairman of Darwish Holding, said: “A labour of love for Darwish Holding, Lagoona is really the future which we envisioned for Qatar’s retail industry. When the idea of Lagoona first came to light, we made sure to craft a shopping concept which will bring home an attractive fusion of retail and lifestyle combined with the elements that make this development truly unique given its fabulous natural surroundings. When we first envisioned Lagoona, we wanted it to be a retail experience beyond the ordinary.”
“Lagoona is still a work in progress with a host of other stores planned for the future; however, life within is taking shape beautifully. Lagoona will certainly change the way shopping is perceived making the mall not just a destination but also a revelation,” added al-Darwish.
Ron Meiers, Lagoona Management Consultant, said: “The great thing about Lagoona is the fact that it has attracted a host of internationally-renowned brands which are showcased for the very first time in Qatar. Lagoona will be truly a unique shopping destination and a great retail avenue for those brand-names that are looking for elegant and beautiful surroundings at Qatar’s upcoming throbbing business, residential and retail heart.
