The first Giorgio Armani cosmetic counter in Qatar was recently opened at Salam store at the Gate Mall.

The counter is the eleventh of its type to be opened in the region, and follows the opening of Armani’s first hotel in Dubai last year.
The opening was attended by one of Armani’s senior makeup artists, Cesar Santos who offered consultation to participants at the counter’s launch party.
Santos is one of the ‘International Face Directors’ for Giorgio Armani cosmetics and travelled from London for the event.
“Cesar embodies Armani’s distinctive style which has always been elegance, mastery and timelessness,” said a spokesperson, adding “he carries out Armani’s belief that makeup is a part of the fashion world; makeup expresses a woman’s femininity making her irresistible and creating a magnetic quality adding mystery and intrigue.”
Salam store’s group retail manager, Feras Owaidat said: “This is a special moment for Salam store. Giorgio Armani is a brand known across the world as an innovator with an aesthetic vision.”
“The brand remains cool and timeless, keeping not only his fashion line but also his cosmetic range elegant and sophisticated,” said Owaidat, adding “we are delighted that Salam has brought a line of cosmetics that captures a refined style and is now exclusively under our roof.”
