Readymix Qatar Group has appointed Andrew Paylor as the general manager of its local business unit. He has been the company manager for over seven years.
Paylor succeeds Loren Zanin, the vice president general manager, who left after 10 years.
He was transferred to Lafarge, France, as senior vice president, international contracting.
Readymix Qatar Group consists of Readymix Qatar, a leading supplier of readymix concrete, the Qatar Quarry Company which is involved in the production and sale of aggregates, the Qatar Precast Company manufacturing hollow core and precast products and Construction Materials Company trading in building materials. 
Lafarge, the French multinational company which is the largest cement producer in the world, is the managing partner of the business in Qatar.
