At the events, members participated in various fun activities. They were awarded certificates of appreciation for enrolling in the Best Buddies Club.
Those who received special appreciation included: Sarah Shaker, Reema Jarjour, Marwan Mirsal, Rania Attar, Jummana al-Kalout, Ali Abbas, Ayah Abujarbou , Rami Atbah, Abo al-Kahman Moss, Ali Manaa, Khalid al-Omari, Mahmoud Kabani, Ahmad Taher, Mohanad Ahmad, Mohamad Abu Basha.
Earlier this month, similar events took place at Texas A&M University, Virginia Commonwealth University and Georgetown University of Foreign Service in Qatar.
The Best Buddies will soon open a club at the College of the North-Atlantic University.
The club’s volunteers strive to improve the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, as well as help them discover friendship and cultivate an active lifestyle.
