Psychiatry experts are seen with visitors during the open house

The Hamad Medical Corporation Psychiatry department yesterday held an open house to introduce its services and provide information on “mental health and illness” in an interactive session. Psychologist, psychiatrists, occupational therapist, school counsellors, social workers were present to attend to concerns raised by visitors during the event.Most of the issues discussed ranged from parenting to problematic kids, marital disharmony, social problems, coping skills for stressful situations and mental illness.
