A presentation on ‘Back 2 Business 2011’ being made during a cocktail reception hosted by the Dutch, Italian, German, British, Australian, New Zealand and Scandinavian business councils at the Sharq Village
A cocktail reception was hosted by members of the Dutch, Italian, German, British, Australian, New Zealand and Scandinavian business councils at the Sharq Village recently.
During the reception a presentation on ‘Back 2 Business 2011’ was given to sponsors and potential sponsors of this year’s event. The ‘Diamond sponsorship’ was announced and for the second year in a row IBQ confirmed its support to the event. Participants are invited through the top mailing lists of each business council and it is an occasion to meet key decisions makers in a less formal environment.
‘Back 2 Business 2011’ will be held the Sharq Village later this year and the organisers expect more than 600 participants, said Palma Libotte, Chairman of Italian Business Council.
The networking event organised jointly by the six councils last year saw some 550 participants from the Doha business community gathering at the Grand Hyatt hotel. The event has seen a three-fold increase in the number of participants since it started in 2005.
Last years Gold Sponsors - Fata, Vodafone, Volkswagen and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (QCCI) Doha 2013 Bid Committee attended.
