The reception was held to honour Tasweeq’s customers and thank them for their trust in Tasweeq’s business.
Tasweeq’s chief executive officer Saad Al-Kuwari welcomed the guests and thanked them for attending the
luncheon.
Al-Kuwari said: “Qatar’s great achievement in the energy industry, and reaching its LNG production to 77mn tpy has reflected positively on the production increase of all by-products, with LPG expected to reach 12mn tpy by 2012-end.”
Al-Kuwari highlighted Tasweeq’s deals and operations with the international customers, and stressed on the company’s commitment to be the ‘best supplier’ in the GCC region.
The luncheon was attended by top executives from Mitsubishi Corporation, Sinochem Oil Company, Cosmo Oil, ESSAR Oil, ENOC Supply & Trading, Mitsui & Co, Sonatrach Petroleum Corporation, ConocoPhillips, SK ENERGY EUROPE, Chevron, BP Oil International, JX Nippon Oil & Energy Europe, Bakri Trading, Statoil Asia Pacific, Vitol London, Shell, ExxonMobil, Itochu Petroleum Co (Singapore) and REPSOL among others.
Tasweeq team included Sultan al-Binali (ED- QP marketing), Anton Bray (ED- marketing & shipping) and senior managers of marketing and public relations.
